The City of Richmond Heights used the OhioCAF offered by The Center for Local Government last fall to finance several projects with varying repayment needs and terms for each project. I started out seeking financing for capital purchases. The more I discussed the City’s needs with David Conley (RW Baird & Co. - OhioCAF Program Underwriter), the more options he provided for me to consider that would move our projects forward and save us money in financing costs and the potential refinancing of an issue. While the refinancing did not work out at that time, I would have never considered the possibility if it was not brought to my attention. This was a very conscientious group to work with. I would use them again for future financings.

After researching several options for funding a new firehall / emergency services building for the Village of Carey, we selected the Ohio Capital Asset Funding Program.
